
IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group is pleased to welcome Gwyn Serbentas as Senior Director of Technical Services.
Ms. Serbentas brings over two decades of expertise in the food industry, specializing in dairy, spices, and pet food. She holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Purdue University and has vast experience in food safety, microbiology, and developing customized shelf life and challenge studies.
Prior to joining IEH, Ms. Serbentas worked at Merieux NutriSciences, where she conducted a wide range of shelf life and challenge studies across diverse food matrices. She has worked with manufacturers of all sizes, from small businesses to large corporations, advising on food safety issues such as spoilage investigations, environmental monitoring programs, microbiological and chemical testing methods, and contamination investigations.
At IEH, Ms. Serbentas will collaborate with clients to enhance product safety and quality, leveraging her expertise in microbiological and chemical testing to address food manufacturing challenges and support regulatory compliance efforts.
