Environmental Micro Analysis, Inc. (EMA), part of the IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group, is accepting applications for an Instrument Operator/Data Analyst at its facility in Woodland, CA.
The position involves chemistry work at a pesticide residue laboratory operating liquid/gas chromatography instrumentation and data analytics.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
– A BS in Chemistry or related field (required)
– 1-to-2 yrs of Triple Quad Mass Spectrometry (LCMSMS) experience (preferred)
– Experience with GC/MS (preferred)
– Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Good documentation skills
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
The pay range for this position is $60,000 – $80,000 yearly. This is a full-time position eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
General lab hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm The laboratory operates on weekends so candidates must be willing to work some weekends and overtime as needed.
